For the reason that Jane gets sent to earth by the warrior angels is because of her love for Jake because warrior angels aren't supposed to be in love they have to fight, and they can't be tied down to a man haha. There we have it. I was also thinking she could have been sent away because she couldn't love people - but that would kind of defeat the purpose of your story because Jake needs Jane to realize that they were in love before all of that happened...
